In the next few months i’m doing records with Hindsights, Forrest, Jimmy Holland, Bad Blood, Boring Boyfriends, Troubled Sleep, with some other tracking for Grieve, Dave Rangel and Never Ending Reason, and i’m finishing up mixing on the Make Your Mark record tomorrow. Propeller Recording Studio - Bob Cooper Music Production

I’m doing one of those cheeky shameless plugs I like to do every few months, if any of my friends care to reblog this, that would be amazing!

My name is Bob Cooper and I’m a recording engineer currently working from my own space, Propeller Recording Studio near Leeds. Propeller is a high quality facility, offering 16 channels of simultaneous recording, kitted out with high end outboard from Burl, Audient, Apogee and SSL, Focal monitoring, a large selection of great microphones (Neumann U87s, AEA R84 etc…) and amplifiers and drums from Orange, Peavey, Marshall, Fender and Mapex.

Before opening Propeller, I worked at Beat360 Studio in New York alongside Mark Saunders (The Cure, Marilyn Manson, David Bowie), engineering for bands such as Empire Of The Sun (Ministry Of Sound Recs), Fort Lean and Teddy Geiger. Since returning, I’ve worked with the likes of Ginger Wildheart, Hawk Eyes, Rob Lynch, Watch Commander, and a bunch more awesome bands. 


I’m booking sessions from January 2013 onwards, offering recording, mixing, mastering, tuning, editing and more, with special rates for large projects.
